Kemira has good news - the joint venture with Rockwood has been finalized! With effect immediately, two experienced titanium dioxide specialists are pooling their capabilities - and you will benefit from this added value!
The name of the joint company: Sachtleben - with 130 years of experience, top-quality products and a global presence.
With its new strength, Sachtleben is worth more and has more to offer you: more product diversity, more production capacity, more know-how, more sustainability, in short: More "great solutions with small particles".
Our road to a successful future leads via our shared corporate culture. This is growing in the daily interaction of 1,700 German and Finnish employees, as they exchange their knowledge and do not gloss over differing viewpoints, but regard them, instead, as an enrichment of their working lives.
In future, we will be producing titanium dioxide both in Duisburg and at Pori, in Finland. This will expand our range of anatase and rutile specialties. Assuredness of supply will also increase for you, the Sachtleben customer, since the facilities at both European locations operate independently of one another, but are nonetheless perfectly harmonized with each other.
